Hi all, In our Dipawali preparation time, we can make some easy dishes, which will fulfill your hunger in less time and are healthy too. We call this recipe Kakdi cha Thalipeeth (in Marathi)/ Cucumber Spicy Pancake. Kakdi cha Thalipeeth will satisfy your taste buds. So let’ start with the Ingredients.
Kakdi cha Thalipeeth/ Cucumber Spicy Pancake.
- Cucumber (peeled and grated) – 1 cup
- Wheat flour – As per the requirement
- Bengal gram flour – 2 tbsp ( Optional)
- Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
- Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
- Green chili – as per the taste
- Ginger – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp (Optional)
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – As per the taste
- Curd – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp (Optional)
- Oil – As per the requirement
- Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup (Optional)
Take one bowl and add all the ingredients, as mentioned above, except wheat flour and oil. Mix well all the ingredients now add a small amount of wheat flour and mix well check and add an again small amount, if required. You have to mix wheat flour till the batter consistency comes like pancake or cake batter. Add 2 tsp of oil to the batter and mix well. Now take a Pan or Tawa and preheat it and apply some oil on it and spread the batter like pancake and cover for 2 minutes, then flip side and roast it till light brown color. If required, apply oil to both sides while roasting. Now your Kakdi Cha Thalipeeth( in Marathi)/ Cucumber Spicy Pancake is ready to serve. Serve this with fresh curd or any spicy chutney and salad.
