Aalu Chila: Potato Pancake


Hi all, thanks for my blog likes. It motivates me to find something new and share it with you all. Today, I am going to share my favorite and healthy breakfast dish, which you can make in a few minutes. It is not only easy to make and tasty too. So, let’s start with ingredients.

Ingredients:
Potato (grated): 1 cup
Onion: 1/2 cup
Chili: 1 tsp (as per taste)
Kasuri Methi (powder): 1 tsp
Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Wheat flour: 1 cup
Bengal Gram flour: 1/2 cup
Semolina: 1/4 cup
Curd: 1/4 cup
Water: As required
Baking soda: 1/8 tsp
Salt: As per the taste
Oil: 2 tsp


Now mix well all the ingredients and add water to make a batter-like pancake. Heat the pan and spread a small amount of batter on the pan, spread evenly, if required, spread a little amount of oil. Now cover with the lid, cook it on simmer flame. After a minute, check and flip the side and cook it for normal heat. Now your Aalu Chila is ready to serve. Serve this with salad and tomato sauce. It is yummy. I love it 🙂 it’s so easy and healthy, try it once I am sure you will make it again and again. Enjoy your hot Aalu Chila / Aaloo Cheela.
