Singhara Laddu and Cubes


Today, I am going to share Singhara Laddu and Cubes (Water Chestnut Balls and Cubes) recipe. In my last blog, I have shared about Singhara. This recipe is very for the winter season because we are going to use all the hot ingredients by nature. So, without late, we will go to the kitchen and start collecting all ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Singhara (Boil and Peeled): 1 cup
  • Dates (Seedless): 1/2 cup
  • Amaranth or Rajgira (Roasted): 1/2 cup
  • Dry Fruits: 1/2 cup
  • Dry Coconut (Grated): 1/4 cup
  • Mava: 1/2 cup
  • Nutmeg Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee: 2 tsp

First, grind Amaranth and make a fine powder. Now powder keeps aside and make a fine paste of singhara and dates one by one and keep aside. Now crush the mava and cut the dry fruits, and keep aside. Now take a pan and add ghee into it, heat it on a medium flame. Now one by one, add all the ingredients, Singhara and dates paste, roast it for 2 minutes, add mava, and cut dry fruits mix all well. Now add Rajgira powder, grated coconut, and nutmeg powder and one more time mix all well stir it for 5 minutes, and your mixture is ready to give the shape, for cubes grease the tray and pour the half mixture to the try and neet flatten it, on the top garnish with some cut dry fruits. In the same way, you can make balls also, grease your hands and make small balls of the remaining mixture for garnishing add some dry fruits.
