Navaratri Special

Happy Navaratri to all.

In my previous Navaratri/ Navratri Special blog, I mentioned that Navaratri is a transition period of two seasons. In these two weather transition time lot of people becomes to seek, and that is why we need to balance our diet to control our health and prevent ourselves from becomes a seeking condition. Today, I am going to share some of the balanced diets for Navaratri Fastings, or you can name it nine-day purification of the body and soul. So let’s starts with some smoothies these all are just five minutes recipes.

Banana Protein Smoothie:

  • Banana: 2
  • Protein powder or singhara(boiled): 3tap
  • Vanilla essence: 1/4 tsp
  • Honey: 1tsp
  • Milk: 1 cup

Blend and consume with dry fruits.

Mix Fruit Smoothie:

  • Pineapple: 1/2 cup
  • Kiwi: 1
  • Orange: 1
  • Ginger: 1-inch coin
  • Coconut water: 1cup

Blend and consume with boiled singhara.

Chocolate Smoothie:

  • Date: 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa Powder: 1 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Honey: 1 tsp
  • Almond (peeled): 6 
  • Milk: 1cup

Blend and consume with cut apple.

Papaya Smoothie:

  • Ripe Papaya: 3/4 cup
  • Plum or Banana: 1/2 cup
  • Curd: 3tsp
  • Honey: 1tbsp

Blend add water (if needed), again blend and consume with roasted dry nuts.

Apple Banana Smoothie:

  • Apple (peeled and chopped): 1 cup
  • Banana: 1 cup
  • Cinnamon Powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Chia Seeds (soaked): 1tsp
  • Honey: 1tsp
  • Curd: 2 to 3 tsp
  • Water: 1/4 cup

Blend and consume with boiled singhara.

Coffee Dates Smoothie:

  • Yogurt: 1/2 cup
  • Dates (seedless): 3
  • Instant Coffee: 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon: 1/4 tsp
  • Water: 1/4 cup

Blend and consume with roasted peanuts.

Dates Singhara Smoothie:

  • Dates(seedless): 1/2 cup
  • Singhara (boiled): 1/2 cup
  • Roasted Rajgira Powder: 1/4 cup
  • Almond powder: 1 tsp
  • Honey: 2 tsp
  • Milk: 1/2 cup

Blend and consume with a Banana.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie:

  • Dates (seedless): 3
  • Yogurt: 1 cup
  • Chocolate:1tbsp
  • Cinnamon Powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Water: 1/4 cup

Blend and consume with a cut Apple.

Pineapple Banana Smoothie:

  • Yogurt: 1cup
  • Pineapple: 1 cup
  • Banana: 1
  • Chia Seeds(soaked): 1 tsp
  • Water: 1/4 cup

Blend and consume with a hand full of nuts.
